Libeccio at the Business Tourism Management event in Bari (Italy)

On Thursday, February 26, at the Fiera del Levante in Bari (Italy), as part of the BTM (Business Tourism Management) event, the Libeccio project and its potential for developing new skills in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and the fight against climate change were presented.

During a panel discussion entitled “Generating New Skills for Businesses and Tourism Destinations: Artificial Intelligence and Climate Change”, Professor Alessia Mariotti from the Center for Advanced Studies on Tourism illustrated the main challenges Libeccio is facing in building the human capital of the future in the tourism sector.

The panel also featured speakers such as Nunzia Borrelli (Associate Professor at the Bicocca University of Milan), Paola Mercogliano (Principal Scientist, CMCC Foundation), Michele Tamma (Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and President of CISET) and Aldo Frigeri (Training Director at the Tourism Study Centre in Florence).
