EUROMed Tourism Innovation Platform (ETIP) Registration Form

Preamble

This Accession Charter formalises the commitment of new members to join the EUROMed Tourism Innovation Platform (ETIP) within the LIBECCIO project. LIBECCIO is an Interreg Euro-MED project dedicated to promoting sustainable, resilient and inclusive tourism models across the Mediterranean region through innovative digital tools, collaboration and shared learning.

Purpose of the Membership

The main objective of the membership is to support the transformation of Tourism in the Mediterranean area by:

Joining QHelix Community with similar synergies: Sharing within the QHelix Community and getting together to debate, gain knowledge and participate in project activities to enhance the environmental protection, cultural heritage and the well-being of local communities.

Driving digital transformation: Sharing innovative solutions according to sustainability standards to play a role in facing together the challenges of the Tourism sector.

Driving innovation in tourism: Setting up regular discussions amongst sectors of Tourism value chain to discuss about improvement points and to achieve the excellence in this sector according to sustainability goals.

Fostering interest between Public and Private sector: Involving the Public and the Private sector related to Tourism to offer a forum for multidisciplinary, intersectoral and multilevel dialogue about tourism sustainability with a data driven approach.

Agreeing with this Charter, registered stakeholders express their commitment to be part of the EUROMed Tourism Innovation Platform (ETIP):

Join the EUROMed Tourism Innovation Platform (ETIP): Members are invited to engage with the ETIP network, contributing with insights and sharing knowledge to collectively improve sustainable tourism practices across the region.

Contribute to the Destination Management Support System (DMSS): Members will participate in the use and testing of the LIBECCIO project’s DMSS, which aims to support data-driven decision-making for more resilient tourism ecosystems.

As a member of the EUROMed Tourism Innovation Platform, the registered stakeholder will have the opportunity to:

  • Have access to the knowledge base, trainings, tools and resources of the DMSS.
  • Participate in ETIP events, working groups and living labs focused on the development and scaling of sustainable tourism practices.
  • Work with a network of stakeholders to promote innovation and resilience in their local tourism ecosystems.
  • Receive support to build capacity for sustainable management of tourism destinations.

The ETIP Platform is hosted by the project management software Basecamp, to which members will be granted access after registering.

Participation Rules:

  • All publications must adhere to the highest professional standards and align with the overarching themes of LIBECCIO and the ETIP platform.
  • It is the responsibility of all members to contribute with publications that support the objectives of the ETIP.
  • Please note that specific commercial actions aimed at the sale of products are not permitted.
  • Should any member identify any erroneous or inappropriate information, they are requested to report it to the administrators.
