The event, organised by the City Council of Terrassa and presided by the Councillor for Tourism, Mr. Joan Salvador, will host 40 entrepreneurs from various fields: businesses, entities, institutions, associations, tourism professionals, journalists, and universities.
During the event, the key stakeholders of the tourism sector will be informed about the Interreg Euro-MED Libeccio project and the EUROMed Tourism Innovation Platform (ETIP) will be presented.
The Chamber of Commerce of Terrassa, an institution also involved in the Libeccio project and responsible for managing the Tourism Innovation Platform, will also be present at the event.
The purpose of the Info Day is to engage tourism stakeholders in Terrassa, informing them about the benefits of being part of the Tourism Innovation Platform and the commitment involved in being a member.
The event will include a presentation on the importance of sustainability for businesses and data collection for better management and decision-making in the tourism industry, delivered by the company DECABA Turisme i Desenvolupament Local.
Following the presentations, there will be a networking lunch where participants will be able to discuss various topics covered during the day and, most importantly, encourage collaboration between the public and private sectors in the city to improve tourism sustainability with a data-driven approach in Terrassa.
